Thankful Hearts

Thanksgiving often starts the busiest season of the year for so many people. Hosting, cooking, cleaning, decorating for holidays, shopping, wrapping, traditions, extra church activities, holiday parties, school performances, Christmas wishlists, and the list goes on.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle and forget where our focus should truly be. I’m right there with you. Life is demanding.

If I’m honest, sometimes I get so wrapped up in it all, that by the time the actual meal comes, we’re lucky if we go around the table and say something we’re thankful for… which usually ends with everyone saying a simple “Family”, “Friends”, “God”.

I’m determined to do more, and I truly believe it requires intentionality on my part.

This week, I challenge you to slow down. Either by yourself in your quiet time with God or as a whole family around the Thanksgiving dinner table.

If you struggle to know where to start, ask God to open your eyes and to help you slow down and give Him the Thanksgiving He deserves.

I’ve created this FREE printable to help us do just that. Feel free to print it as many times as you’d like for each member or your family.
